Hollywood Hollywood isn't as glamorous as it used to be in the past. The streets are dingy and there are many people making money trying to take advantage of the tourists. Even people dressed up as celebrities hang out at popular tourist areas and demand for tips after you've taken a picture of them or with them. Even though there are many places for celebrities to been seen, it's almost next to impossible to even enter the restaurant/store/bar/hotel. So you'll find many people just hanging outside trying to get a glimpse of their favourite celebrity. In Hollywood we were able to take a the "Celebrity's House Tour." We saw James Dean's house being restored, Sean Connery's castle, P diddy's homes, and many other homes. A really interesting fact that was given about movie production is that if you own your home and are approached to have your house used in a movie, say "Yes," because they will pay you well for the use of your home and pay your electrical bills. That's how the house in "Halloween" was discovered. |
