Mt. St. Helens National Park At 8:32 Sunday morning, May 18, 1980, Mount St. Helens erupted. So this is a good enough reason to visit this National Park. Unfortunately, we came at the wrong time of year. We couldn't see much through the snow and fog. So we decided that it would be better to come back in the summer with all the other tourists. |
