We've done both of these hikes before, but this time around we decided to include a friend. The gym bunny that she is found the hike to be a good cardio adventure, for us it certainly was nice to change the dynamic.

Would we bring our friend with us again? Of course but next time around she'll have to carry the 20 lbs backpack.
