Cranbrook, British Columbia
August 2006
Cranbrook is a town that I would have never even thought of visiting or even living in for a week. It's mainly a pit-stop for travellers, but the opportunity arouse to live there for fee and I decided to take it.
I didn't realise the size of Cranbrook until I took the plane. I had to take a 18 seater plane from the original Vancouver airport. I felt every elevation change and didn't even see the landing strip because it looked like a driveway in a farmer's field. Once in Cranbrook, we drove from one end of the town to the other in 2 mins. I began to think.... "Oh my... what did I get myself into?!?!"
But regardless of it's size I that fun living there. Especially going to the grocery store and having the security guard follow me around ;0) |
