Michael, Michael, Michael....

This is one of the hardest people to write about. Always full of stories, I can't tell what is true and what is made up. Some times I don't know what to think about this guy. There's a few stories...

I went out for his birthday and he decided to tell me the story about his new leather jacket... that he got from a dead guy. He goes through elaborate details about this jacket, his friend, his friends uncle... blah blah blah. So he finishes with "And that's a true story" and left it at that. So on the drive home I asked his mom if she heard the story of the jacket, she burst out says... "Did he tell you the true story or did he tell you the one about the dead guy?" Too funny....

Another time, we were sitting around a campfire and he begins to tell a story about chemical reactions. Goes on using all these scientific terms for a good 5 mins... when I realize that he's confused or doesn't know what he's talking about. So I tell his sister, who then tell him that he's mistaken. Michael responds "Damn I thought I was going to get away with that one... you weren't suppose to tell anyone that I didn't know what I was talking about." All this with a silly little grin.

Michael also has an obsession with beef. I watched him eat a huge slab of prime rib with nothing else on the side but gravy and a beer. He'll go out his way to find the best steak in town, if not he'll settle with cooking one himself.

If he's not telling stories or eating beef, he's taking care of Jayden and Heather. Sometimes asleep for majority of the day, he still finds time to setup the internet cam and let us watch him type with Jayden by his side.
