ABOUT GEMMA'S SCULPTURES
My first encounter with clay was in elementary
(Minchau Elementary School). We got a lesson on clay scultpures,
bisk firing and glazing. I continued making sculptures up until
University.
I'm most comfortable with clay. In
university I've done: cardboard, wood, steel and plaster. But clay
is the most co-operative.

SITTING WOMAN
This three hour study of a woman
sitting is one of the only sculptures that I saved from University.
Majority of our projects were larger and hard to transport,
so I left them to recycle for the next student's in the clay
course.
